Fire officials are reminding the public to dispose of fireworks properly after fireworks caused a truck to catch fire early Saturday morning. South Weber Fire Chief Derek Tolman said they got the call just before midnight on Friday. “All it takes was some wind and a little hot spot in there and all that cardboard just lit up,” he said. “By the time they realized what was going on, it already burned into the cab and the whole truck was a total loss.”
