Irish broadcaster Gay Byrne has died at the age of 85 after a long illness, RTE said. Fianna Fail leader Micheal Martin signs the book of condolence for Gay Byrne which opened at the Mansion House in Dublin on Tuesday. The RTE broadcaster and former Late Late Show host had been undergoing treatment for cancer. The father-of-two died in Howth surrounded by his family.
