Ex-President Joe Biden in an appearance on ABC's "The View" Thursday defiantly challenged Democratic insiders and journalists who have come forward with credible reports of his failing mental acuity that ultimately led to him being struck from the 2024 ticket. "Since you left office there have been a number of books that have come out — deeply sourced from Democratic sources — that claim in your final year there was a dramatic decline in your cognitive abilities," Alyssa Farah Griffin said. "What is your response to these allegations and are these sources wrong?" she asked. "They are wrong, there's nothing to sustain that," Biden said defiantly.
