A murder probe is under way after a man in his 30s died following an assault at a guest house in Norwich Road, Ipswich. Police were called to the Beaumont Guest House, opposite Glyn Hopkin Nissan and Tesco, just before 4.55pm on Friday, after receiving reports the victim had suffered serious injuries. Shortly after the incident, police arrested a 40-year-old man on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm at the scene. He was subsequently further arrested on suspicion of murder and was taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
