These astonishing clips show Russian paratroopers taking control of the Ukrainian settlement ofRazdolivka. Footage released by the Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD), shows RussianTula Airborne Forces units taking control of the village, located in Ukraine's Donetsk oblast, on July 1. The ministry said in a statement: 'The paratroopers occupied more advantageous positions and expanded the zone of control north-west of the village. 'First, the assault units, liberating house after house, installed the Russian tricolour next to the administrative building, and then, after the complete liberation of Razdolivka, a quadcopter flew over the village and secured the Airborne Forces flag - a blue banner with a parachute at the highest point of the village, demonstrating complete control over it. 'The flag was hung by UAV operators of a separate airborne assault company.' Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24, 2022, in what the Kremlin is still calling a 'special military operation'. The conflict is still ongoing with public support from Europe and the United States fading and businesses reopening their ties with Russia. Deserters have fled both countries for safer climbs in Europe and Asia.
