In this video, Budi Sulistiarto, digital transformation leader at Schneider Electric's Batam, Indonesia, factory shows how Aveva Insights software is used on machines to monitor machine operating parameters, set minimum and maximum control levels for each machine, and receive alerts if operating parameters are not within set levels. Insights delivered by the software enable preventative maintenance and reduce quality defects. Sulistiarto also shows how machines are retrofitted for IoT connectivity with Aveva Insights through the addition of plug-and-play IoT sensors and edge computing technologies.
