Donald Trump Refuses To Rule Out Third Term As President.

Donald Trump has not ruled out the possibility of seeking a third term as US president, saying he would “love to do it” during a trip to Asia. Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One, Trump dismissed suggestions of running for vice-president in 2028 as “too cute” and said it “wouldn’t be right”. The president claimed he would be “allowed” to run again as vice-president but added that he had no plans to do so. Trump said he had not seriously considered a third run for the White House but boasted of having “the best poll numbers” of his career. The 22nd Amendment of the US Constitution prevents any president from serving more than two terms. Despite this, Trump ally Steve Bannon recently claimed a “plan” was in place to secure another term.
