CONTROL THE BALL AT ANY HEIGHT

CONTROL THE BALL AT ANY HEIGHT. USSF certified coach and former NAIA All-American Mike Araujo demonstrates a drill to master touch and ball control with all parts of the body, and control any kind of incoming pass, in this soccer training video. Here, players use their head, chest, thighs, and feet to control an incoming pass in the air, and then pass the ball back to their partner with their next touch. Players should focus on keeping their eye on the ball and locking their ankle when passing back. This drill is important for all skill levels and positions, and makes a great warm-up for any soccer practice. It helps players improve their judgement, reaction speed, control, and skill when dealing with an incoming ball in the air. Being properly prepared for and practiced in these types of situations will often make the different between keeping and losing possession.
