When Marissa Jaret Winokur, an actress and singer known for her Tony Award-winning role as Tracy Turnblad in Broadways "Hairspray," was diagnosed with cervical cancer, she kept it to herself. She was just about to start playing the iconic role, and she didnt want it to affect her job. But Winokur, like many other women, had dreams outside of her job too - like being a mom. When she was left without a uterus, she worried her chances of having kids were gone.
