They talked about the murder of conservative activist Charlie Kirk and also highlighted cattle ranchers affected by the party's spending and tax cut legislation. Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) also discussed government funding negotiations, as a continuing resolution was to be introduced to partially fund the government until full legislation is agreed on.
