Ruth Neave arriving at Parkside Police Station, Cambridge, to give evidence by video link to an Old Bailey jury where James Watson is on trial for the murder of her son, Rikki. The body of Rikki Neave was found in a copse near his Peterborough home in 1994. He had been strangled. Mrs Neave was originally charged with his murder but acquitted. A campaign by this newspaper led to a cold case review and a decision by police to re-open their investigation. The trial at the Old Bailey is expected to last up to six to eight weeks.
