The body of Rikki Neave was found in a copse near his Peterborough home in 1994. He had been strangled. Mrs Neave was originally charged with his murder but acquitted. A campaign by this newspaper led to a cold case review and a decision by police to re-open their investigation. The trial at the Old Bailey is expected to last up to six to eight weeks.
