The establishment media breathlessly reported almost eight "missing" hours of Donald Trump's official White House call log on January 6, 2021, speculating his use of "burner phones” as potential evidence something sinister was taking place. But, it turns out, as CNN later reported, there were no missing pages in the switchboard logs and a more likely, innocent explanation was Trump routinely had staff use landlines or cell phones, neither of which would be noted on the switchboard log.
