Almost half of Japanese firms relied on workers aged 70 and older in 2022

By 2030, almost 40% of Japanese workers will be 55 or over and worldwide, there will be 150 million more workers in that age group. That’s almost the entire working population of the US. The global workforce is ageing fastest in high-income countries.
