ABC's David Muir returns to air after being criticized for sprucing up look during LA wildfires

David Muir appears to have ditched his now-infamous clothespin. The ABC anchor returned to “World News Tonight” Thursday to cover the Los Angeles wildfires, one day after facing backlash for cinching his flame-retardant yellow jacket to achieve a sleeker look. Muir, 51, wore the same coat during his latest broadcast, but it was unzipped this time and therefore had a looser fit, so he seemingly did not need a clothespin on the back.
