A baby with DNA from three people was born in the United Kingdom after a special IVF procedure. The Human Fertilization and Embryology Authority (HFEA) confirmed the news. However, they refused to give any more details to avoid the families being identified. The procedure is called mitochondrial donation treatment, which gives a woman an IVF baby with DNA from three people.
