'Fatal Conceit': Sen. Rand Paul Torches Public Health Officials For Spreading 'Undue Fear' over Coronavirus, Failed 'Central Planning' Approach

While testifying before the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pension (HELP) Tuesday, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) warned the public against trusting top U.S. infectious disease experts, saying: “Ultimately this all comes down to the fatal conceit that central planners have enough knowledge somehow to tell a nation of 330 million people what they can and can’t do."
