Firefighters were called to a fire near Snaresbrook Road in Leytonstone on Saturday. Around one hectare of grass and shrubland was damaged by fire. There were no reports of any injuries. The Brigade was called at 0516 and the fire was under control by 0634. Two fire engines from Woodford and Leytonstone fire stations attended the scene.
