A spring turkey hunt in Utah turned into an emotional day in the field for four special needs youth experiencing their very first hunt. In this special episode, we follow four kids as they hunt from blinds tucked into Utah’s meadows and canyon country, each hoping for a chance at their first wild turkey. By the end of the day, all four succeed, resulting in a rare four‑bird day and setting a record for the number of turkeys harvested in a single episode. The hunt was made possible by Kids with Disabilities Adventures (KWD Adventures), a Utah-based nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of disabled and special needs youth through outdoor experiences. From hunting and fishing to time spent in nature, KWD Adventures works to open doors to opportunities many of these kids might not otherwise have. More than just a successful hunt, the day is a testament to patience, teamwork, and the power of getting kids outdoors, proving that the outdoors truly is for everyone.
