The little Texan town of Granbury has found itself at the centre of controversy when its school district tried to impose one of the most sweeping book bans ever seen in the United States. The effort by Republican school board officials to ban books which they deemed to be promoting LGBT+ rights left the town ripped apart, leaving family members on opposing sides.
