China threatens retaliation as Taiwan president meets with US House Speaker

Taiwan's President Tsai Ing-wen is set to meet US House Speaker Kevin McCarthy in California on Wednesday in the first such meeting on US soil, a plan that has drawn threats of retaliation from China, which claims self-ruled Taiwan as its own.
