This Spanish city gave workers a 4-day week. Here's what happened

Valencia is Spain’s third-largest city. In April and May 2023, it scheduled public holidays to fall on 4 consecutive Mondays. So for 4 weeks, 360,000 workers had a 4-day week . An independent team of health and social science experts evaluated the trial. They found that people reported lower levels of stress and felt generally healthier, happier and less tired.
