Nearly 1 in 7 U.S. consumers have used buy now, pay later (BNPL) to make a purchase online in the last 12 months, and as the payment method becomes a daily tool for many shoppers, Tristan Roffey, vice president and group head of global strategy and business development at Blackhawk Network, told PYMNTS it’s becoming increasingly important for brick-and-mortar retailers to give their customers BNPL options at checkout.
