Iran’s President signs deal to end war with US

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian signed and displayed a memorandum of understanding with the United States aimed at ending the conflict that has disrupted global energy markets. The agreement, signed by both Pezeshkian and President Trump, takes effect immediately and includes reopening the Strait of Hormuz and lifting the U.S. blockade of Iranian ports. The memorandum also launches a 60-day negotiation period to pursue a broader, long-term settlement between the two countries.
