Pearl Harbor Survivor Reflects on The Day That Still Lives in Infamy

On Dec. 7, 1941, Japanese forces launched a surprise attack on the U.S. Naval base at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. By the time the attack was over, 2,402 were killed and another 1,282 were wounded. Few survivors remain from this pivotal day in world history. Before his passing, Growing Bolder was honored to sit down with Jack Colby, who was there that day. He told us even though he didn’t like to look back, every American needs to remember those who died.
