Russian videos appears to show military units withdrawing from border with Ukraine

Russia's ministry of defence has published videos that purport to show Russian military units redeploying to their permanent garrisons away from the border with Ukraine. Videos published on YouTube and the Russian MOD's website claim to show armoured vehicles, artillery and troops moving away from Russia's Southern and Western military districts. A statement from the ministry said the purported redeployment followed the completion of the units' participation in a joint Russian-Belarusian exercise. Neither the filming location nor date of the footage has been externally verified. A tweet from the Centre for Information Resilience, a London-based organisation that claims to counter disinformation, alleged some of the footage appeared to have been filmed at a train station in Crimea, more than 100 miles away from mainland Ukraine.
