Jamie Foxx Shuts Down Rumors That Diddy Tried To Kill Him

Jamie Foxx has shut down conspiracy theories claiming Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs tried to kill him after his 2023 medical emergency. Foxx revealed that the emergency was a stroke caused by a bleed on the brain, which required urgent surgery to save his life. In a recent interview with 'The Hollywood Reporter,' Foxx addressed the speculation, stating, “No, Puffy (Sean Combs) didn’t try to kill me,” adding that the cloning rumors “made me flip.” He said humor helped him cope while in the hospital, “That’s the only way I could get through it. I’m a comic.” Foxx joked about his near-death experience, saying, “I saw the tunnel… I thought I saw the Devil… Or is that Puffy?” Foxx previously spoken about the rumors in his Netflix special ‘What Had Happened Was…’, where he opened up for the first time about his 2023 health emergency. He went on to joke about leaving Diddy’s parties early, saying, “I left those parties early, I was out by 9pm. Because something don’t look right, it’s slippery in here.” Combs is currently on trial for sex trafficking and racketeering charges, which he has denied.
