Instant Payments Set to Boost Intra-African Trade by $5B Annually

John Bosco Sebabi, Deputy CEO of the Pan-African Payment Settlement System (PAPSS) tells PYMNTS that the recently launched instant payment system will save Africa $5 billion annually previously lost in intra-African trade, helping to facilitate cross-border trade transactions in a fragmented continent with high trade costs that have hampered its growth for far too long.
