President Trump and first lady Melania welcomed King Charles and Queen Camilla to the White House. The British royals arrived for a four-day visit to the United States, with plans to also travel to New York City and Virginia before departing for Bermuda on Thursday. According to the president’s schedule, the Trumps were set to join the royals for a tea and a tour of a White House beehive. The visit comes shortly after Melania Trump announced an expansion of the White House honey program, including a newly installed beehive shaped like the White House on the South Lawn.
