Two Key Figures In People-smuggling Ring Guilty Of Manslaughter Of 39 Migrants

Two key figures in a million-pound people-smuggling ring have been found guilty of the manslaughter of 39 men, women and children. On October 23 2019, the Vietnamese migrants, aged between 15 and 44, were found dead in the back of a trailer in Essex. They had suffocated in sweltering temperatures as the airtight container was shipped from Zeebrugge to Purfleet.
