Semi-truck cabin bursts into flames on Kentucky highway

Southbound Interstate 65 was shut down in Bowling Green, Ky., Friday morning after a semi-truck caught fire, authorities said. A video shared by Twitter user @trash_bae__ shows the semi-truck pulled over on I-65 Friday morning, with the cabin engulfed in flames. A thick column of black smoke is blowing in the rain. “Oh shoot, I hope they got out of there,” a voice can be heard saying. The Warren County Emergency Management Agency sent an alert shortly before 8 a.m. that said southbound I-65 was shut down in the area, and advised drivers to find an alternate route. The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet said shortly after 10:30 a.m. that all lanes were reopened. @trash_bae__/LOCAL NEWS X /TMX
