To Win Big, EU Firms Must First Win US, Says Hoxton Ventures Partner

Hussein Kanji, Partner at early-stage VC firm Hoxton Ventures, tells PYMNTS that European tech firms tend to begin their international expansion by launching in other European countries first. That move, he said, is not a winning strategy and to get to Google or Facebook scale, EU firms must target and conquer the US market immediately after launch before going back to expand their European footprint.
