In Latin America, Women Are Now More Educated Than Men

More than 60% of women in Latin America go to college or university, compared with just under half of men. There’s been a huge transition since 1970 when just 5% of LatAm women had access to higher education. Since then, the percentage of women in college has grown 14-fold.
