Police are appealing to find a man who allegedly stole an Samsung S21 from an address in Northwood Avenue, Hornchurch. The victim, Rehan Azam says it was meant to be a sale of the brand-new boxed phone which he organised Facebook Marketplace in exchange for £1,080. The Caucasian middle-aged man with a foreign accent handed over shredded newspaper in an envelope to Rehan, before saying he needed to return to his car to get change. As we went, he swiped the phone off the porch and a ran into a car waiting for him. Another man can be seen at the begging getting into position to make sure the path was clear and easy for a getaway.
