He went on to announce the launch of Eastern Sentry to "bolster our posture even further along our eastern flank … this effort will also feature elements designed to address the particular challenges associated with the use of drones." Joining the secretary general was Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR) Gen. Alexus Grynkewich, who provided more details on Eastern Sentry, saying, "Eastern Sentry will be flexible and agile, delivering even more focused deterrence and defense exactly when and where needed ... it will even further strengthen our posture to shield and protect the alliance."
