Kozhikode: The one-percent flood-cess introduced in the state budget presented on Thursday would lead to price rise, say traders. They thought that the cess would be imposed on the tax; but it turned out that the cess is on the products. If the cess is imposed on the proposed method, there could be a huge setback, said traders.
