Nilackal: The state government and the High Court appointed monitoring committee are on a collision course, it seems. Devaswom minister Kadakampally Surendran blasted the committee saying that it was not deputed by the HC to tabulate the number of latrines in Sabarimala, but to examine the issues related to the entry of women at the shrine. But, Justice PR Raman, a member of the committee, clarified that the women's issue does not figure in the terms of reference of the committee. Meanwhile, the committee expressed its displeasure at the police action which allowed the Maniti group entry from Nilackal.
