More than 20 years after 9/11, Christie Coombs' Story of Loss and Hope Still Inspires The World

Jeff Coombs. That was his name. His widow, Christie Coombs wants you and others to remember it. Jeff Coombs died when the American Airlines flight he was on crashed into the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001. Terrorists killed nearly 3,000 people that day. Each had a name. Jeff left behind a wife and three young children. On that day the children lost a father, and Christie lost a husband. The more than 20 years since have been filled with heartache, courage and ultimately, love. Coombs recounts the tragic events of that day, and shares what she’s learned about coping with grief, and the healing powers of giving back.
