Canada has a shortage of skilled workers in multiple sectors, including construction, manufacturing, and healthcare. At the same time, millions of refugees are skilled professionals, but they are often seen merely as passive recipients of aid. But the Economic Mobility Pathway programme seeks to change that. Developed in collaboration with the non-profit RefugePoint, here’s how this programme is helping find jobs for refugees that were skilled professionals.
