The 47th Precinct Quality of Life team officers responded to an alert of shots fired at 3800 Baychester Avenue around 5 a.m. on Nov. 3 when they spotted Victor Lyle walking out of a park. When one of the officers called out to him, “Come here real quick,” Lyle, dressed in a black vest and red sweat suit, broke into a sprint. The officer who ran after him could be heard taking deep breaths when the chase was over, as multiple officers held down Lyle and cuffed him. The police then turned Lyle over, and with a flashlight pointed at his chest, unzipped his vest, revealing not one, but two illegal loaded guns inside his pockets, which they promptly confiscated
