Emergency in Russia’s Orenburg region Amid Ukraine War; Dam Bursts In Orsk, Causes Massive Flooding

Amid the Ukraine war, Russia faces another catastrophic disaster in the Orenburg region near the Kazakhstan border due to flooding after a dam burst. Over 4000 people rescued after torrential rains caused massive flooding especially in Orsk city. Russia also initiated a criminal case for "negligence and violation of construction safety rules" concerning the burst dam, constructed in 2014.
