Former office building Crown House has been converted into 30 flats. Developer Richard Wombwell launched the new housing on Tuesday, August 31, with town MP Brandon Lewis. The prominent building in Great Yarmouth's Yarmouth Way had been home to the Job Centre and Inland Revenue but had been empty for some years. Mr Wombwell said the £3m project had taken over three years. It sees five flats over six floors, some with panoramic views of the river, sea and Norfolk Broads. Already some ten have been sold, a one-bedroom flat going for £135,000 - a record for Great Yarmouth.
