The 'Frozen' musical based on the animated film is the story of two sisters, Elsa and the younger Anna, who are left on their own after the death of their parents. From a young age, Elsa is taught to hide her powers, to be ashamed of what her family sees as a curse. When Elsa inherits the throne, she accidentally unleashes her powers in front of frightened villagers and is branded a monster. In her sorrow, she flees the kingdom and envelops Arendelle in an eternal winter.
