Lil Nas X smiles outside court after avoiding felony charges in LAPD battery case

Lil Nas X's near-naked attack on Los Angeles police officers has resulted in the singer and rapper getting admitted into a mental health diversion program. Nas, real name Montero Hill, appeared in court Monday dressed in a black suit and giving a double thumbs-up as he entered the courthouse in Van Nuys. Once inside, the judge granted the "Old Town Road" rapper a mental health diversion program instead of jail time.
