US States With The Best And Worst Flight Etiquette

Your experience on an airplane can be seriously affected by those around you, and more specifically, their travel etiquette. According to a report by Solitaire Bliss, 78% of the 2,002 Americans surveyed reported a downturn in flight etiquette in recent years. It also found that the results depended on where the participants were based, so here are some of the best and worst states for travel etiquette. Iowa was ranked as the worst state for etiquette, with putting their bags on the terminal seats and passing gas on the plane among the complaints. Illinois, where one in four passengers ignores the seatbelt sign, Virginia, Texas and Georgia round out the top five worst states for travel etiquette. States in the south and midwest of the US scored well, according to the report, with Arkansas ranked as the best state for etiquette. Arkansas was also noted for its well-mannered passengers, with Wisconsin, Florida, Ohio and Kansas completing the top five.
