New Delhi: The state government faced a major setback in connection with the salary challenge. The Supreme Court has rejected the governmnet's appeal. The SC has upheld the verdict of High Court which has cancelled the submission of no consent letter. The HC order was against the government notification demanding no consent letter from the employees who disagreed to contribute their salaries to the flood relief fund. The High Court has stayed the 10th section of the notification which instructed the employees to submit no consent letter. The bench headed by Justice Arun Mishra rejected the plea submitted by the state government against the verdict.
