Kottayam: Four nuns who protested against former Jalandhar Bishop Franco Mulakkal have been transferred to different parts of the country, from their convent at Kuravilangadu. The Mother General of Missionaries of Jesus has ordered to transfer Sr Anupama, who led the protest, to Punjab, and Sr Alfiya to Jharkhand. The Mother General has also ordered the transfer of Sr Neena Rose and Sr Josephine to different convents. The Mother General claimed that the transfer is routine.
