Dani Rodrik is a professor of international economics at Harvard. He’s well known for his critiques of unfettered globalization. Globalization is the growing interdependence of the world’s cultures and economies brought about by the flow of goods, people, technology and ideas. Balanced globalization is a good thing, says Rodrik, but pursuing it at all costs has led societies to neglect the welfare of people and of the planet.
