We’ve all seen the reels and recaps highlighting 2021 on Instagram. So when we came across a new, creative approach to reflecting, we had to share! Photographer Joel Marion enlisted his friends and family to pick their “Photo of the Year” for 2021 and share it, along with a paragraph about why it’s important to them. From there, he created a gallery experience with all of the images that were sent in. We asked Joel to break it down for us and share how the exhibit came together and what he observed about the photo selections.
