House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries (NY) campaigned for U.S. House candidate Elaine Luria (D-VA) at a Get-Out-the-Vote rally in Virginia Beach, Virginia. During his remarks, Jeffries called Election Day "judgment day" for Republicans, predicting Democrats would win decisively and regain seats in Congress. He also said Democrats would seek to remove Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth from his position. Luria, meanwhile, criticized her opponent, Republican Rep. Jen Kiggans, accusing her of voting in lockstep with President Donald Trump's agenda. The Cook Political Report rated the race "Lean Democrat," while Inside Elections classified it as "Tilt Democrat."
