Wayanad: At forest village Chettialathur in Wayanad where the volunteering rehabilitation programme of the Central government is being implemented, the building of compound wall for a school has become a controversy. People ask why Rs 6 lakh is being spent for the wall though several houses are yet to be built. The panchayath authorities say that it is their responsibility to protect the school.
